I did the panel int. Meet and greet with the
CP, and sim last summer. I know that the interview wen't well. The sim did too. Had recommendations, familly on Oahu, and Ohana but never heard a yes or a no. Does anyone know what this means. Could I be on some list or was I turned down. Hawaiian is my goal in life but wonder if that interview meant anything. I would love to join the swim team so at least I could know what the future holds. Any info would be great.

Fast forward 6 years I got on at NetJets and thought I had hit the lottery. Had I been single still, I would have bailed NJ in a hearbeat and headed back to Hawaii without even blinking If they had called. Now I'm sitting on the street working as a plumber in San Diego. Everytime I think about what could have been, I almost get sick to my stomach. I put my stuff back in last week, but I'm not holding out hope. Best of luck to you and everyone else.

Thanks HNL Dave. That gives me hope. As for Av8 it doesn't make me feel better I just hope that everything works out for you. NetJets or Hawaiian. I don't have all my eggs in the Hawaiian basket however its the one place that is all pros and no cons for me, so I will never completely move on. I think that the worst is behind our pilot industry and the in the future getting hired by the company you really want to work for will not be such a long shot.

I'm with you Barrel Rider! I did the whole meet-n-greet, sim and panel interview last year after I interview the first time in 2008. They keep saying that I'm in their pool, but they keep hiring guys who interview after I did. It's frustrating not to know where you stand. They keep saying they'll stay in touch but yet they've been saying that for the last 2 years.
