What's wrong with Amazon going in-house with it's flying? It would be a plane spotters dream come true, tracking the birth of a new airline.

Atlas announces fourth quarter results on 23 Feb. last year they announced the SA purchase at this meeting. Maybe another announcement this year. I honk they're already pulling some strings in the currency environment.

Don't get your hopes up. There will be no announcement this year.

As for retirements, I forget the exact numbers, but @ 25-30ish a year?
Here's an interesting post from three years ago.

14 pilots were leaving each year in 2013 and 2014.

Now twice that number are leaving each MONTH! How can management possibly justify these numbers??

One thing is certain....

The company is clearly getting desperate. When they go to this extreme to force a contract....you know they need one fast to do what they want to do. The delay is hurting their efforts. If it wasn't, they would stay quiet and continue to operate with existing wages.

To the company trolls on here, you have only one option that will result in success and rapid growth for all...Pay your pilots more and negotiate section 6 like any airline with half a brain is doing! Otherwise....

...burn the house down. We all have options these days.

This guy gets it.

You think Amazon wants another strike when Atlas gets going full steam ahead with the Prime flying? I doubt it. Better get it settled soon. Purchase and the shareholders needs the contract more than the pilots do.

+1

This attitude is becoming more and more widespread. If Atlas isn't careful, the pilots will simply engage in an illegal action and just walk off the job for a few days which will shut the place down for good. You can only spit in the face of your employees so many times before they revolt.
