If you are legacy, I wouldn't worry about it. They make a big deal about you guys during the winging process.

Thanks for the reassurance, but what's the winging process?

Here's a question. I'm a legacy, former employee, Intern, and current delta connection pilot. The catch is they were all for NWA, should I enter them in as Delta anyway?

Can you check with your sources on this.

In my V-file, there was an article about us hiring .. blah blah. At the very end, it said that the hiring team will NOT accept resume or applications walk-ins or phone calls. Applicants will need to use the AirlineApps website and use your delta.com address for a recommendation.

To clarify, can we walk a resume in? Or should we just have them apply and submit a letter of recommendation through the website?

The decision was made to not do pre-screens this time around; too many bases, and too difficult to ensure continuity and fairness of the pre-screen program. The pre-screen was a method allowed to get an applicant before someone in the CP office who would take their resume and application. If the pre-screen went well the applicant could then expect an interview invite via airlineapps shortly after the prescreen.

This time around it's strictly airline apps handling everything--no VFR direct.

I know of no former DAL or NWA poolies that have gotten a letter.

Does anybody know if any of the former NWA poolies have been contacted by Delta this week?

Where? I logged back in to airlineapps after getting this Yellow Fever email and there's nothing new added to the addendums

Any interview dates yet?

Don't know how its being handled this time, but last time you actually had to call the Cheif Pilot support center and schedule the date with them. They would tell you what was available, and you chose the date yourself.

If that's the way its going this time, those getting invites should be calling early next week, if they've not called already, and dates should be known then. (I'm sure most that have gotten invites are busy getting their ducks in a row, and don't have alot of time for forum commentary, too.)

Oh, and early July are the rumored interview start dates.

It's the very last question of the Addendum.

Also, winging process? Anyone?
