what do u mean by cracking down?..as in eliminating domestic partnership bennefits?..

domestic partnership doesn't only pertain to homosexuals...what bout a man and women who've been together for a long period of time who aren't legally married?

I know there was a recent article on DLNET regarding employee travel abuse so I wish they would "crack down" on travel abuse. (btw, an interesting article).

I was catching a flight the other day and this older guy walked up to the agent to get his ticket after the agent called for him. When he approached, the agent asked him who he worked for and he replied "Delta". After further questioning (for some reason), he changed his story to say he was a "dependent." His age clearly gave him away so the agent asked "how old are you and are you in school?" To which the guy THEN said he was a registered dependent (in school or something). The agent made a remark about him requiring a "paper coupon" and asked if he paid his fee yet..dunno but he was near the last guy to board the plane.
He was at least in his mid-late 30's.

Rumor was and this was from a fairly good source that they wanted to hire 100 aditional more pilots ( after the first 65) at the end of this year or the very begining part of next year.,,, Ofcourse being in this business everything is subject to change.

Could someone please take down my quote on post 141? After re-reading it, it might come off as offensive. It was never intended that way.

180ish? So if you could get hired early, you may not have to be on reserve or you'll at least beable to choose which base to be on reserve at correct??

Yes! Waiting for the FedEx pkg now. Will they send us some books in the meantime to get a head start? Sort of bummed we won't get the id until we're done. Wouldn't mind coming home for a weekend. Or Thanksgiving.
