Having XJ and 9E as ALPA made it to where the XJ guys were able to have "portable longevity," too. They'll port their longevity from XJ over to 9E (not seniority), so they're at least not starting totally from square one. Offering jobs to the XJ furloughees first was, IMO, the right thing to do considering we're all in this mess together. |
What's the likelihood of holding MEM as a new-hire right now? Only reason I ask is since I live here and I couldn't imagine commuting to this job....
