He still has pieces of magic carpet stuck in his ears and a few fingers from DH, RL and HK in his a$$.......... In other words, he is still just a shill and a quasi scab.......

CQFO = Captain Qualified First Officers. It is a temporary stop gap to get captain into the airplane while they wait for current employees to either get throught training or meet the minimum requirements for an ATP. My guess is that with the mins they sound like they are hiring with it is an ATP issue. (ATP = 1500 TT).

I am a former TSA waterskier. When I was there we had high time requirement. 1500TT and 500ME as our mins. I was a Ba4100 f/o then made captain on Ba3100. Nothing like 19 angry passengers to drive you to the cargo airlines.

Long live the boxes........

P.S. TSA has always had a bad washout rate. The class before me in 1996 lost all but 2 people to the sim. It is in their corporate culture to make training a challenge.

If we had ATP mins for our captains, we wouldn't be having this problem.
Mins for captain here at Tranny States are 4000TT (or 3200 with company match of 800 hours max).

They are pretty desperate for pilots now, so they told us that anybody we know with commercial should apply.
Rumours are also that they might have to look for street captains soon.

HUH and with all that experience? I mean 400 TT and 50 multi, why is anyone even messing with an RJ? You'd think they'd be hiring for Airforce 1 pilots or something with all of that experience.

Maybe when you wipe the tears from your eyes you'll be able to see they're all HK's.
