Wikipedia says 17 more on order. Bring the total to 50. Had been 60, if I recall. Accuracy? Don’t know.

The last class of Q pilots started 175 transition on the 11th with some stragglers coming in here and there for the next few months. I don’t know what that means for the PDP people but I would assume the next classes of pilots will be all PDP and prior experience/direct entry captains. Supposedly no external hiring for FOs for the next few months. Things change though.

Half of the fleet did go away but we’re adding jets slowly but surely.

The commute isn’t the problem. It’s the fact that you’ll be on reserve for a while and have to pay to live down there. Horizon gives you a bit towards a crash pad, which is helpful but unless you get a crash pad, it’s not gonna cover it all. I’m currently in that position and looking to get to PDX or SEA when I can.
