Great choice going all 400, only 34 flights were cancelled just for the 400 yesterday due to inspections that needed to be done.

Well, they feel they don't need them with the superior economics of the Q400.

Yeah, what was up with that? A ramper told us they were routing a bunch of 400's to PDX, do you know what it was for?

If you read your QX email, there was an email sent out about it.

I don't have a Horizon email account anymore and come to think of it I don't think I ever did.

I have a Horizon email I think, but I have never logged on.

I heard that there was some AD that came out and grounded 10 Q400s. Didn't effect me today, so I didn't ask anymore questions. Come to think of it, I was supposed to have a hangar pick-up yesterday, but when we got to the MX building, the plane wasn't there, after a call to scheduling we found out that we were taking a plane that was coming in a little later. Good thing I came in early for the hangar pick up and got to get the round-trip van ride. Don't know if that was part of the same thing or not.

Oh, and I heard another thing: If oil goes above $150 per barrel, they are going to start parking RJs.

Not if it's an Emergency/Equipment-Specific furlough, such as the parking of the Q2 in such a hurry. . .or in the case of the RJ's, if fuel were to go up.

In that case the union must agree to the emergency furlough, which I can't imagine they would. The only way the company can furlough out of order without union approval is if the aircraft is grounded by AD or manufacturer directive.
