I have a Horizon email I think, but I have never logged on.
I heard that there was some AD that came out and grounded 10 Q400s. Didn't effect me today, so I didn't ask anymore questions. Come to think of it, I was supposed to have a hangar pick-up yesterday, but when we got to the MX building, the plane wasn't there, after a call to scheduling we found out that we were taking a plane that was coming in a little later. Good thing I came in early for the hangar pick up and got to get the round-trip van ride. Don't know if that was part of the same thing or not.

In that case the union must agree to the emergency furlough, which I can't imagine they would. The only way the company can furlough out of order without union approval is if the aircraft is grounded by AD or manufacturer directive.
