I was told recently by one of our base CP's that new hire classes were pushed back due to a lack of available sim time. Apparently, Republic bought all the extra sim time and QX wouldn't have enough availability for new hire training. For those of you interested, please keep applying. I would love to trade bases, or, just be able to drop a trip!

We maybe staying the same but SkyWest is getting 3 more for the Alaska flying. You would THINK that with all the hardships and changes that have occured since 2009 (base changes, downgrades, furloughs,ect...) that we would be due some good news.

This is why airlines **** me off so much.
It's bad enough they hire 'til they fire, and fire 'til they hire again.
It's bad enough I have know guys who have been furloughed two, even three times (from the SAME AIRLINE!)
Now Horizon posts their first job opening for pilots In who even knows how long, and a few days later......Oh, wait, we made a mistake, we are not hiring.
What a crock this industry is.

No it's two classes of 8 for may and June. The two new hires were from the window two weeks ago.
