No study guide, but check the gouges. The technical will be as painful as you make it for yourself; know the concepts outlined in the gouges well, and it will be fairly short and painless. It seems like the FTD ride is what catches most people. It's very easy, but the device itself has plenty of quirks. I'd spend .5 to 1.0 in the Troutdale 142 so there are no surprises.

I used .3 when I applied then brought in uncorrected numbers to the interview. If you do so just be forthcoming about it. So nobody thinks your trying to misrepresent your background. Remember the conversion isn't really a multiplier it's because we don't log block or Hobs time in the military, the .2-.3 per sortie is taxi time....

No calls here... but I'm not entirely surprised. I've identified the candidate they seem to hire, and I'm not quite there yet. I've talked to a couple of people who have gotten hired in the last month or two. Two were FO's, and there are a couple of Captains. The FO's were either in the training department or the recruiting team.

At least until Tilden decides we're too expensive, and parks 30% of our fleet, at which point he becomes some kind of *******ed up Oprah.
