Snarge, I thought your comment on OYH was awesome.

At one time, the union was rumored to be looking at a flow-thorough program with DELTA (yes, you heard that right - Horizon's union was allegedly talking with Big D). I'm not sure if the IBT was serious about this, or just using it as a means of antagonizing the Air Group. Wouldn't it be funny if we could negotiate a flow-through or preferential hiring agreement with another major airline? Just see how fast the Alaska Air group comes up with a "real" flow through program (insert evil grin here).

Doesn't sound like a "flow" at all, sounds like an interview if you get called, then a pool, whoopee.

It's seems such an obvious solution if mainlines want to keep the feeders flying with some sort of controlled exodus of their experienced pilots. Cost would be zero, ROI huge!
Change is very difficult I suppose, the first step is recognizing you have a problem.

Sad thing is that the real reason for Horizons bad year is Tilden not Campbell. He’s just the fall guy, the board is just too myopic (stupid) to see that.

19 upgrades for February. Most junior captain will be a E175 FO > Q400 CA hired 3/2017.
