Maybe it’s a good thing because there’s not much to complain about? I’m halfway through IOE and having a blast. (Of course that’ll wear off and I’ll have things to complain about later haha) But it gives you perspective into training so...

Nothing really new has happened lately, except them announcing CAT III autoland should be ready by Feb/march 2019 for the jet, and RNP will be later. Also said we'd be getting 11 more jets by years end, but that's probably a stretch.

There's still plenty of things to complain about. Trip quality on the Q400 continues to plunge with the runway closure in SEA. 2 of my last 3 overnights were 10 hours min rest with 5-6 leg days due to massive flow delays.

12 hour days with 2-3 hours of flying. awesome.

"Just go to the jet." Why, so i can take a pay cut to do the same exact Q400 routes? Maybe 1 leg less?

Nothing new for the Q side but will definitely help the jet, although I think RNP and LPV would be a better pick first.

Cat III in the Q can also bug out sometimes, hope the jet isn't the same way.

I got in and out of Seattle early the other day. The FO and I were shocked!

I also ended up with a 21 hr Seattle overnight because I broke down in Helena and got in too late to finish the day.

Well we certainly have the ERJ line pilots to take on 11 more jets. What is going to hurt us is losing all the ERJ check pilots/APD/sim instructors in the 17 going to AS next month.

This SEA runway closure is ridiculous. And the weather really hasn't been a factor, yet.

No Q upgrades scheduled for November. October class has only 2 Q upgrades.

If you bid the q for upgrade, can they put you in the e-jet instead?

If the Q bid was finalized then no. You're stuck in it for at least a year.

If you want to gain seniority the jet is the plane to get on, in either seat.
