IF......IF it were still around and growing. Evidently our work rules, pay, vacation were just too out of line with the rest of the $hitbag regional operators out there.

My paycheck may be marginally better, but everything else is worse. Including the cultish juicers.
Then why the hell are you still here? You're not a slave to this place. They don't own you. Lot's of tough talk, but hey good news, the door is wide open for you! Tons of hiring bonuses and quick upgrades at places like SkyWest, Mesa and the like. I'm sure if you apply with your qualifications you'd get a call same day! Good luck on your future endeavors!

Love the 'if you don't like it, you can always leave' response.
So much easier than the "why don't we work together to make the place a the career destination it shou- OH SH!T, an RSA"

Sorry for the grumpy response - my over 15:30 scheduled duty period from yesterday has me not in the best mood.

While I don’t share the same sentiment as coopervane, I’m ex-XJT as well, this response must be from a non-pilot. That’s the only way I could think someone would say just go back to your old regional. You must not understand how this industry works. Do you understand how seniority works?

I agree with everything cooper says except that I wish I could go back. I do not wish that. But outside of actual compensation, almost every work rule at legacy XJT was superior to here.

Evidently comprehension is not your strong suit.

Why would I want to go to a place like SkyWest, Mesa and the like? Those places are worse than Jetblew.

I said I would go back TO MY OLD REGIONAL. I’ll say it again since you seem a little dense. I would go back to my old regional.

If they paid the same as jetblew it would be a better place than here....do you comprehend how absurd that reality is? How pathetic?

But they don’t pay the same and they won’t exist in a few years, so that isn’t an option.

Do you know how seniority works? Did you eat paint chips as a child?

The guy literally said "I can unequivocally say I’d rather go back to my old regional than stay here."

That isn't the 'if you don't like it then you can leave' response to someone who is slighty upset about the work rules/pay, that's someone saying they would rather go back. So you know what, go back if you hate it this much. I don't like our current situation here with lackluster pay and work rules, but I'm going to do my part to change it. What I'm not going to do is ***** about my life being miserable and how I'd rather go work somewhere else that is easily achievable right now, like getting hired at a regional.

I don't know where you worked before here. You said regional, so I listed regionals, ones that have bonuses and fast upgrades.

My comprehension is fine, it's the non-stop ***** fest that gets old fast here, then when someone gets called out on it all you can do is insult and defer away from what you actually said. I quote "I can unequivocally say I’d rather go back to my old regional than stay here. It been nothing but disappointment from pretty much day 1. "

So I say again...go back. Leave. nobody is stopping you.

Seniority? HAHA really? (Also, yet another great insult!) That's your argument now? You're willing to sacrifice years of your life and be miserable because of your arbitrary seniority number? Hey my job sucks, I hate my life here, I wish I was somewhere else, but ya know...seniority. There are plenty of pilots who left aviation entirely because they were sick of it and got into different industries. A seniority number didn't stop them from moving on with their lives.

So if you're so damn miserable, go fly 91 or 135. Plenty of non 121 jobs that pay well enough to start, especially now and you won't have to worry about seniority, either present, or lost seniority at XJT. All the Charter and Frac pilots are leaving for the airlines and those places are hurting for pilots. There's plenty of options out there. I was miserable at previous job I had and guess what, **** seniority, I left, because life is too short to be miserable all the time.

One of the worse affects from the lead in those old paint chips coursing through your bloodstream and deposited in your fatty tissue is a marked decrease in deductive reasoning and comprehension.

It’s worse other places so we should be happy.

If you don’t like it try dumping lavs at a fractional or flying freight in an old Barron? Hmmmm seems flawed....

If you don’t like it leave....just LEAVE. it’s so simple.....just leave.

Now WHY didn’t I think of that? I am trying to leave. But the stink of B6 is strong.

Also...I stated that I would leave for my old regional IF IT WERE STILL THERE. IT IS NOT IN ITS CURRENT AND FUTURE FORM.

My statement is rooted in fantasy. However, If it were still around and payed the same as B6, it would be superior. I still stand by that statement.

Not sure why your little feewings are getting butthurt over a statement of personal preference.
I’m out......feel free to continue screaming into the wind #”it just keeps getting better”

What is the stink of JetBlue?
Isn’t the theory that the big guys will hire tons of blue pilots to hurt us? That’s the attrition argument on here anyway.
With all due respect do you think you are not getting a call because you are here?
