On a rare positive note, at least most of the sections have been TAd.
Hopin that those of us that were on the fence, now leave this $hitbox asap.
I aint waiting another year for a CBA.
I've been in much worse negotiating environments i.e whipsaw and a company losing money.

I think you barking about leaving is a similar hedge. "Let me tell everyone I'm leaving and they should too...that'll help our position just in case I stay."

We get it, you're leaving or at least you say you are daily. Why others need you for career advise is escaping me.

Im impressed that you still know how to diagram a sentence. Can you help me with my flowcharts?

Great Freakonomics podcast on, "Do boycotts work?" for additional ruminating.
According to a few here EVERYONE is picking up RSA's when they're not busy cleaning planes. We all know the reality has changed.

I was thinking there's probably a % that the company tracks based on how many RSA's are issued and the number that are picked up. There's most likely a cost analysis that drives their ability to predict how likely the pilot group will continue to support whatever level of staffing they're desiring to input into the operation.

The staffing issues we're seeing are all cost. I still think we're on the verge of seeing some major changes at jblue. The CBA is a part of that and it's obviously related to a huge cost.

I think the changes will reflect the 190 replacement and the 320LR.

What kind of changes? I see no indication that they have the intellect to change unless they see a major staffing issue and with the idiots here helping out, that's not going to happen. I just hope for a merger or sale-probably unlikely for a while.
I hope you're right Bubs👍

Just don't leave any dangling participles will you? Cover those up.

Okay, okay, for inquiring minds:

In the session I attended one of the pilots in a nutshell asked if they thought guys going above and beyond (RSAs) is hurting our cause and the lawyer wouldn't go near it! Total plutonium since Spirit is being sued. So the selfish pricks that want to keep picking them up will get ZERO resistance from the union. As expected. So if they don't give a shot about keeping newbys on RSV, slowing upgrades and keep bailing the company out so they don't have to staff for more than severe clear in sept/thus maybe get this CBA done sooner rather than later-than so be it... Godspeed! I'll just keep my opinions to myself!

What sucks is that guys are picking them up without even thinking they're harming the cause (that is the CBA), or that by doing so they're effecting anything negatively. They're doing so because it's there, they're available and management is asking for help. This is part of the cumbyah that the company culture was built on. For as much as we pace out these forum threads on an hourly basis, there's a % of the b6 pilot group that have no clue and are doing what they think is right and frankly just normal. Because the union leadership, and anyone else for that matter, can't say anything relating to NOT picking up to help out. But that's all part of the process.

No one is striking under this pro-business, anti-labor, anti-union administration.

Just look at their inaction on ME3. You aren't striking, guys. Wake up.
