Does anyone actually think we're in good position? Guys will still pick up extra flying and the operation will just run lean. Until we have a strike vote and are actually released (which never happens btw), B6 will have the leverage.
On a rare positive note, at least most of the sections have been TAd.
Hopin that those of us that were on the fence, now leave this $hitbox asap.
I aint waiting another year for a CBA.

I think you barking about leaving is a similar hedge. "Let me tell everyone I'm leaving and they should too...that'll help our position just in case I stay."
We get it, you're leaving or at least you say you are daily. Why others need you for career advise is escaping me.

The question is... how many people are really picking up RSAs, etc.? Is it 5 or 50%? I suspect it's like everything else - a Bell Curve with most of us in the middle. Blue gloves on one end and Molotov cocktail tossers on the other. Do RSAs move the needle? I can't answer that without that data. Great Freakonomics podcast on, "Do boycotts work?" for additional ruminating.

I was thinking there's probably a % that the company tracks based on how many RSA's are issued and the number that are picked up. There's most likely a cost analysis that drives their ability to predict how likely the pilot group will continue to support whatever level of staffing they're desiring to input into the operation.
The staffing issues we're seeing are all cost. I still think we're on the verge of seeing some major changes at jblue. The CBA is a part of that and it's obviously related to a huge cost.
I think the changes will reflect the 190 replacement and the 320LR.

What sucks is that guys are picking them up without even thinking they're harming the cause (that is the CBA), or that by doing so they're effecting anything negatively. They're doing so because it's there, they're available and management is asking for help. This is part of the cumbyah that the company culture was built on. For as much as we pace out these forum threads on an hourly basis, there's a % of the b6 pilot group that have no clue and are doing what they think is right and frankly just normal. Because the union leadership, and anyone else for that matter, can't say anything relating to NOT picking up to help out. But that's all part of the process.
