Sorry to hear that, man. Many of us have been there. For me, it was only a few months ago at Spirit. Looking back, I’m glad they said no, but at the time it was a real bummer. As one door closes, another may well open. Best of luck.

So I got an email from GIS yesterday, saying that they haven’t been able to verify ANY of my previous employment. To aid in the process, to please send the W2s from my previous employers for the last 5 years and a copy of my diploma and transcripts. First of all, I sent all that a month ago. Second of all, if I supply all that, then I’m verifying my own previous employment. What are they getting paid for? So I called GIS and had to speak to an operator since the person that wrote to me would not answer the phone, and I told them I had supplied all the information a month ago, and she said that the person working my file must have missed the email with the attachments, but she can see that it’s there, but she would forward it to her and make a note of it. Here I am hoping to hear that I’m done with phase 2 soon and freaking GIS has done NOTHING for an entire month with my employment verification. I’m so upset. I did and sent everything they asked for but they “missed” my email with all the attachment. Unreal.

Thanks. I appreciate it. Ya, I'm bummed but as you said another door will open and when it does I will be ready. For now I will enjoy building the PIC time and send my apps out. Good luck to those that are moving on, make us proud and fly safe! 😁🤙

Sorry to hear that, Rudi. Never a good thing to hear, but here's hoping you make a soft landing later this year, either here or at another major. Don't let it get you down.

I hear you man. Education part I completed for GIS since they didn't seem to care if it was completed at all. I have been waiting on the NDR to be completed since 2/21 (The only part missing). Every time I ask GIS what the hold up is they say "We will put an expedite on this" and nothing happens. I am sure B6 is aware of what is going on but some communication from JetBlue would be nice. Going on 3 1/2 months in Phase 2. Tough seeing all these classes pass us all buy. Thats the "biz." So I'm told.
I sent an email to Jetblue about this. I just don’t understand what their function is if I’m providing all the documentation to prove my previous employment and education. There’s a couple of carriers in my history that don’t exist any more, but the others that are still operating weren’t verified either. I asked how come, and the lady said that they called but no one answered or got back to them, which I find hard to believe. I see it as they wasted an entire month. Seniority is everything in this business man. I was furloughed once by 1 number. The guy above me got to keep his job and I didn’t. That’s the difference of 1 single number. I’m
Sorry it’s taken so long for you Oneataco. Hopefully you’ll get some news very soon.

I’m really sorry to hear it didn’t work out for you this time man. Maybe it was the PIC time, maybe it wasn’t, but you can try again in 6 months. Or maybe this door closed because a better one will open. I know it’s worked that way in my case. If you do decide to try again at Jetblue, PM me about getting ready for the interviews, including the video interview. I did my prep with a lady that was the first HR manager at Jetblue when it was founded, and all she does now is interview preps. I’m positive without her help I wouldn’t have passed my interviews. The information she shared with me was priceless. Good luck whichever way you decide to go.

Good luck in the future, and if you aren't getting any calls from Legacies, I hope you apply in 6 months.
Good luck!

I got turned down once and hired a year later. Still hate the former chief pilot that turned me down.
