Not that I’m aware of. Not sure what you mean about the forecast...if they are slowing the 16/17 interviews they will slow the 25/26.

They alluded to the sims getting backed up which would be the reason for our slowdown but I would figure why not just make us wait in the pool on the other side of phase II. Canceling an interview is a little bit more aggressive and suggests that the forecast for 500 new hires this year maybe changing. All I meant is it seems quite sudden given they were just telling us those numbers only 2 weeks ago. But I think you are correct they are not running interviews every week with 70-80 pilots over the two days when classes are running only twice a month around 30 people. Supposedly only 20–25 in the last class due to not getting enough through phaseII in time which suggests the pool isn’t very deep.

I have zero inside information, but we rarely have any summer training (so adjuncts can fly). Perhaps this has something to do with the slowdown?

It’s actually sounding like this correct. A buddy just called me and said the same. Because they couldn’t get people through phaseII in time for May they have enough to fill June now and no more classes through summer

If that’s the case, why did they had interviewes 25-26 April and have interviews scheduled for 15 May? Something doesn’t add up, it seems all of the candidates from 16-17 April are still in the loop, now the candidates from 25-26 April...
They are probably overwhelmed with the amount of apps and interviews...

I hope I’m wrong. I’m currently unemployed so even waiting till June hurts. I asked the same questions but I guess the hiring team hires until they are told to stop. Doesn’t really make sense...
