With the fume events on the 320 and the terrible 190 schedules, the A220 might not be a bad option. Hopefully the trips are a nice balance of short and long hauls. I’m ready for change, I’ll go to MCO for a few weeks this winter. It could also be a huge dumpster fire. Guess we’ll find out soon!

Wasn't meant to be a woe is me post, was pointing out how little the options are... In relation to the post I quoted talking about lack of flexibility in traveling to and from training. You have a nice day, though, and good luck with your commute.

So the 220 bid comes out next month?

That’s the rumor. Nothing official. But the sources are pretty good.

According to Jim S, Yes.

How many slots are we anticipating in BOS?

I would guess about 60 CA and 60 FO in BOS by end of 2021.

Thanks. How junior you think on the FO side?

I don’t think anyone has any idea, especially with the LR FO positions also coming available. But, a chunk of the most junior positions will also be going away (190FO). Some will want to wait until they see the trips and get some of the teething issues worked out. Some will want to ride the 190 til the last one is in the boneyard. Some can’t wait to get off of it. Some don’t want to mess with long term training events right now. So...all in all...I have no idea.

Question is, how senior will it go?
