Perhaps he’s thinking about airlines in BK. In which case he won’t even bat an eye at the merger policy.

No, chili-head is just trying to enflame Blue pilots by saying his airline owner and master might buy JB.

To which I say, go ahead, doesn't even factor into ALPA merger policy and he can just go ahead and say thank you for the much better pilot CBA.

There is virtually zero chance JB goes bankrupt, or anywhere close.

Maybe our company could work on the O2 mask rules so we don’t catch and spread this!

No, it's how the BlueComs control the pilot population.

I don’t think any carrier is going to be aggressive and try to take advantage of the current situation until they have a better feel for where the bottom is.

Is this a parody acct?

And what exactly would a company do with more aircraft (even those acquired at a "low price.")

You are woefully ignorant. If you don't think what's going on in Asia and Europe can't happen here within a month, I don't know what to tell you. It might not happen, but it's definitely within the realm of possibility.

If I had been saving my money for a long time and saw something I was interested and actively watching suddenly become 50% off I would probably by it.
