Perhaps if the dependability policy went away, I’d agree that it has value. As it is now I was due for dependability review while still positively accumulating PTO. If I can’t even use all the PTO I’m using now while still accruing it without getting a dependability review, what’s the value of adding the ability to call out even more unpaid?
Also, there’s an easy bypass for both the dependability policy and being able to call out unpaid: FMLA.

I think the 3 percent was added in the last offer. Six thousand per pilot before taxes. Scope looks super weak too. MEC continues to disrespect us. Company just toys with them and us really. I’ll vote No. I think it’ll pass anyways but I’d be amazing to see what the arbitrator would say.

I would really love to have a better understanding of how we got to this spot where we're looking at 3% and about $7K average per pilot. I'd like to see the minutes from all the meetings that were held with company. The negotiation committee coming before us and take us on a journey and letting us see where this whole thing has gone. And finally I'd like them to sell me on it. Why do they feel it's a good deal. Now that they've been operating this NEA, how about a real breakdown of the type of revenue we're talking about. Just saying "they're making billions and billions off of it" doesn't make sense to me. I know it's not that, but I know it's not chicken scratch either. Where do they see this going from here with a "no" vote?

I’m a no vote. This vote sets the tone for C2022, and Jetblue is watching.
If this TA passes by a wide margin, we have just shown the company our hand of cards…
They will see that this pilot group will vote yes for anything.
