And the B6 pilot group is 50% larger than the Alaska pilot group, for those who argue that size matters. So, a couple bucks over Alaska with no PS would be a terrible deal.
HARD NO...

Does it being a terrible deal prevent a sell job and subsequent passing vote? Obviously not as we saw how it played out last time.

All true.
We will also get merit/ performance based PS: Company is asking for 72.5% On-time performance. Union is asking for 55.3% (almost achievable)

You do realize that our pay rates are currently higher than Delta’s, right? There’s no reason we should settle for less this time around either.

I’m okay with that. What I’m not okay with is bringing us a substandard AIP and saying it’s the best they could do.

I am genuinely surprised at how many people seem to think that this bargaining environment is anything like a year ago, or two years ago, or 10 years ago, or any time since the 1930s.

This is a different world. Jetblue has a bunch of airplanes coming and is fixing to have a negative head count to fly them. If they could they’d be hiring private pilots and jamming them through like they did prior to WWII, but they can’t.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean this group won’t settle for a terrible deal. When we got 3% it was already a strong pilots market and we had a lot of leverage but threw it away cause “we don’t know what will happen if we vote no.”

Look at A321 rates. How are our rates higher than Delta’s?

No, we’re jamming through our own internal flight attendants….and I just talked to one that went through gateway, flew the 190 for less than a year, and got hired at AA🤣🤣

Average of 319/320/321 since we don't separate them
