I was too new to vote on the earlier LOA. Judging on that I have no confidence in this group voting in standing their ground. Plus, judging on the language Ive heard it all before. Yes now and we’ll promise more later!

I was wondering what everyone thought about the latest email. I think it is a smart move to get some better pay rates now in case we don’t finish the whole contract by the time a JCBA starts negotiations. But there sure are some scheduling issues I wish we could address. Namely the reserve grid as well as a few other aspects.

They could offer $450/hr and if pairs still look the way they do today, I’m a NO. Doing what we’ve been doing for the past year with regards to these pairings is a nonstarter.

They could add some provision like no in-base layovers and the company has a dozen other ways to make the pairings miserable that ALPA doesn’t know about yet. Meanwhile $450/hour sounds pretty nice. |

Our pairings have gone to GARBAGE, and our pairings are our QOL. |
