Felons at jetblue

In self defense laws there is such a thing as disparity of violence and disparity of strength.
Obvious example of a 29 year old male wielding knifes and clubs and armed with a taser versus a (much) smaller naked female.
She or someone else could have shot him stonecold dead in self defense and nobody would have batted an eye.

Many state laws now limit how far back they can ask about criminal history. SIDA only goes back 7-10 years.
So possible B6 simply wasn't allowed to ask and didn't know. Until somebody recognized him.
Although you'd think they would do a google check of anyone they were going to give a CJO too. Also possible that they're not supposed to even *consider* criminal history after a certain point. Maybe they were afraid they'd get sued if they didn't hire him, and just hoped nobody would notice.
Still don't know why the FAA gave him an ATP.

Once you've done your time I agree, you should be able to re-enter the work force and be a contributing member of society. That said, there's some stuff that is just going to be off limits based on your crimes. This guy, who as an adult committed violent crimes, and was potentially about to commit even more had he not been caught, should not be in any sort of safety sensitive position. He wants a good job? Go work IT, go be an accountant, go do literally anything else that doesn't make you responsible for the safety and well being of others.
Also some of you need to chill with believing literally everything you read. I've been on 4 other forums reading stuff on this guy and every single site somebody says "I heard on another site he got $2 million."Airline guys are worse with gossip than 16yr old high schoolers.
We can't even freaking confirm he works here, and now we should believe he got paid off already?

From a dealer** Still 50 other ways to buy a handgun, no matter who you are or what you’ve done.

Well, he’s not in the employee database anymore. Phew!!
I’d give 0 credence to the “he was paid off” rumors. All the details were already out and the guy was on probation with a violent felony. He’s owed nothing.

I know someone that was wrongfully terminated from JetBlue a number of years ago while on probation. The settlement was no where near 2 million, and it took years to pay out….not to mention he did nothing wrong (was on probation). Not a chance in heck this violent felon was paid 2 million to leave 😅 zero chance
