Two million less than last week’s offer.

Certain decisions just have permanent consequences.
This wasn’t attempted murder in the defense of himself or another person.
This wasn’t a case of someone exceeding the legal parameters of self defense like some high profile cases we’ve seen the last couple years.
The individual in question has an extensive online presence with pictures in a cockpit.
Part 91 and a private owner gives you a job? Fine, that’s up to the owner.
121? No.

On a separate note, how can he even fly intentionally while on probation? Has his passport been reinstated? Canada even?
Just Domestic? Get trips assigned out of seniority because you can’t go somewhere?
But most importantly, did he get a COVID vaccine?

No, he hasn't. Probation is still a custody period, part of his sentence.

Not true at all. That rumor says it’s because JetBlue slipped on a NDA and let this info out. Which isn’t true. Arrest records are public data. It took about a week for this info to start making rounds. The inevitable was coming.

I’m just curious to what POS criminal record check company JB uses that took so long to come back and show he was a felon.

So, funny story with that, a bot picked up a jetblue job posting for GY (Guyana) and created a posting for it. But the bot confused the country code of GY with the municipality name of Gy, which is a municipality in Geneva. Simpleflying ran with that because they are retarded. JetBlue is not actually going to Geneva anytime soon.

I highly doubt Jetblue paid someone in probation (both for the company and judicial system) money to resign. I wouldn’t react to every rumor on the internet. Glad
he is gone, worried this was even a topic of conversation.

Yup,, and that moment is 2044.
And even then you're incorrect. There's a difference between working in an office and being locked up behind a bulletproof door with someone. You can absolutely not expect people to agree to share a cockpit with someone who did this as an adult. Maybe he didn't deserve a life sentence, maybe he should be allowed to vote at some point, but discrimination is definitely warranted. There's a reason the FAA has the good moral character in the ATP requirements. That alone should keep him out forever. Debt to society might be paid. That does not guarantee he's a different person. Prison does not rehabilitate.

They're supposed to do that before IOE?
