Yeah. Satisfied to be in last place…just like the rest of this weak pilot group and weak union. Which is why jetblue will remain in last place. This agreement didn’t even get ahead of Alaska in compensation. Pathetic. Just as pathetic as the 3% to sell that scope you love. Do you love jetblue pulling revenue from republic flying E175s with B6 code with LOA17? How about American’s 777s flying out of JFK with B6 code? And a few months behind delta? They’re 321 tops at $383 or so. I guess $340 is a few months behind delta. Especially as they are forecasting record revenue and a solid 2023/2024. Their comp + PS will blow B6’s out of the water. Won’t even be close.

I voted No on the last few agreements. Will probably vote Yes on this extension, as I estimate an overwhelming majority of B6 pilots will. Not sure how you figure we’re last place. Enjoy your indignation and hyperbole 🍻

Delta is coming out with a Global Scope TA, apparently we are going to vote for that and the contract TA at the same time.

B6 compensation is less than Alaska’s with their bonus plan. Delta AIP far exceeds this TA. UA/AA will be in the DAL ballpark. Not sure the state of SWA, but I doubt they will do anything that isn’t roughly equal to big 3. Oh and they all have PS and make more per day. B6 will be the only one making 5/day avg after UAL gets a deal. So, of all the peers set forth in the TA, B6 will be last in comp once they all ratify agreements. It’s not hyperbole. And it’s not indignation. It’s just facts.

This seems to accomplish what they said we were setting out to do, and got it done quickly. Not sure why some are comparing a short term extension to full JCBA agreements that took years? The supplemental payment and pay rates with the snap up are a great bridge to me until we start a JCBA with Spirit. This will pass easily in my estimation.

Yeah…… don’t do this. Unless you need to tax loss harvest.

I mean in all honesty at $6.75/share how could it possibly get any worse?

famous last words.

When I interviewed I learned out stock price to show I was interested. They were all deeply embarrassed that our stock was $13 a share….

This TA was sent to the pilot group because it exceeded the criteria from the surveys. There in lies the problem. Jetblue pilots have to be among the most pathetic in the industry to suggest a 13% pay raise is an acceptable number.

JCBA *should* be fairly accelerated as well. Can’t even begin the SLI without that so it provides a small amount of leverage.
