Currently on the yellow side here. Assuming the merge is passed, how do you think the JCBA will be affected by WN's new TA, also assuming theirs passes?
Do you think the combined jetBlue will be able to ballpark it close to those pay rates?

I'm addition, the JB A320 CA rate Aug of next year will be a little higher than $355, depending on what the SWA does to our snap-up math, the new SWA TA is $364. So JB will go into JCBA negotiations only ~$6-8 per hour behind the new SWA TA.
So yes, the SWA TA as a whole, and the same of the new DAL, UAL and AA contracts will help and likely be the floor for JCBA negotiations.
The FO rated may or may not be impacted quite as much, as SWA has historically had a higher CA/FO pay ratio than the rest of the industry I believe.
Do you have a different opinion or suggestion?

JB ALPA and JB management have long agreed to a "peerset" for negotiations purposes. That peerset generally is DAL, UAL, AA, SWA and ALK. That won't be a limit to what we can achieve via JCBA, but should be considered the floor in my opinion.

2025 $378
2026 $395
2027 $410
2028 $424
17% Dc -> 18% in 2026
As Robin has stated several times previously, airlines are going to pay pilots the same regardless of which carrier they work for. Relying on sub par wages to fund your growth is no longer a tenable solution. Our JCBA should have contractual snap up clauses as well as annual raises based on CPI or a set %, whichever is higher for the given year. Both of these clauses should be in effect even after the amendable date.
