JetBlue pilots gave away a bunch of scope for a 3% pay raise (after turning it down for a 2% pay raise) under the NEA... Pot meets Kettle.

Not exactly the people we want in our foxholes when it comes time to play hardball. On the other forum there's still people justifying voting those substandard rates in, and even some talking about how they would take lower rates if they can continue to have more schedule flexibility.

I agree with your intent, but, to be fair, it wasn’t a “bunch” of scope, and that scope is back. That being said, much of our pilot group will indeed vote yes as long as the rates are high, unfortunately.

JB pilots took a bird in the hand over what an Arb would decide. Gaining a 3% increase above CBA contractual as well as other things of value to the JB pilots. This raised the bar from which others were able to negotiate from bringing us inline with the Legacy rates at the time. I’m not sure, but I haven’t seen a market adjustment letter of agreement that measures another pilot groups CBA with the potential of what NK might get. Enjoy your apple sauce friend.

The irony of scope talk being we are one of the few Majors who actually have scope preventing our jobs being farmed out to CRJs.

AND for all the other difficulties about the acquisition of Spirit let's be glad neither of us have sold out jobs to regionals further complicating this mess. Horizon and Skywest are going to be an interesting complication to Alaska buying Hawaiian.
