I’m at AA and would stay if I were you. If you decide to jump ship, the junior Miami captain is about 1.5 years, so you won’t lose much in pay, but losing that much seniority seems rough.

Were you at b6 before by any chance? And if so how was the transition from there to AA?

No, Spirit. It’s way better than Spirit, but I suspect it’s not much different than JetBlue, other than widebodies.

Whoa whoa whoa, I just spent the last year being told by NKers that Spirits the only airline with good QOL and pay in the whole world and you are how telling me that's not the case? Well bless my heart I'm shocked I tell you.

You're a April 2023 hire, so I'm just curious... Was this always the plan?

No disrespect intended

I'm sure it was. I can almost guarantee the majority of guys who didnt have asprations to leave before the ruling, won't leave now.

Same as the #notmypresident group that said they'd leave the country if Trump was elected, and then, didn't.....

I'll appreciate thr seniority bump nonetheless if any ones senior to an 8 year guy. Best of luck!

None taken. It was abosolutrly not my plan to leave. Jetblue was my career destination. The folks that planned to leave and have left went shortly after IOE. I didn't decide to seriously look elsewhere until recently.

So what's different now? Assuming the appeal is unsuccessful, we won't have billions of additional debt, a fleet of NEOs that can't fly, and a boatload of planes that need to be reconfigured for millions of dollars per plane. Maybe it's a good thing that we aren't putting that noose around our neck?
