Now we know that the appeal will be heard in June -- after whatever happens in May.

Monthly dividends until it’s over. 54.6 million worth between now and June.

Exactly, that’s close to 1/2 a billion in Acquisition costs. I’m not saying it wasn’t worth it, in the end maybe B6 and NK win appeal (highly unlikely). Or you could look at it from the angle of very unlikely F9 and NK end up together either. So maybe it was worth the B6 investment. Hopefully NK restructures finance’s and NK employees are fine.

But…For all the B6 pilots jumping ship because they’re worried about JetBlue’s future finances??

Just do a little bar napkin math, B6 would have turned a profit in ‘23 absent acquisitions costs, we have a premium product equal to legacies, a good brand and more than 30% international (growing), B6 will be fine, just gonna take some time for a new strategy.

Rapid growth through acquisition unfairly stopped, but the airline’s gotta move on to new strategy. Not saying all legacy growth is stopping, but it’s definitely slowing, you may be on the wrong side of the wave of the legacy seniority hiring. Just an opinion for consideration.

I'm not worried about the finances so much as JetBlue postponing their plan to become a major player and instead snapping back to their old "niche NYC Vacation Airline" model... the one Robin told us was not the answer.

I agree the time to leave for the legacies is way past... the best time was like two years ago, about the same time the Spirit merger was announced.

More like four years ago. That person would’ve been pulling their hair out at the bottom of the seniority list when Covid hit, but it would all be a distant memory by now.

Totally agree with this, that being said, gotta shore up the Balance Sheet, then move on to next growth opportunity. But you’re right, after that we gotta get away from being just an East Coast airline.

Maybe Biden administration will stop AK + HA, then new administration and then B6 + AK, one can dream😜
