And as mentioned, at post 9/11 AA?

There was a time at legacy AA where EVERY pilot was max'd out on the pay scale, to include the BOTTOM pilot.

Meaning, even the BOTTOM pilot had 12 (or whatever it was) years......

I think we are miscommunicating. At time of merger. That was shortly BEFORE 9/11.

I am talking about years seniority, not pay scale. Within AA and within TWA.

In the listing of FA, there were 7 MONTH seniority AA FA, at the time of the merger, who were not furrowed while 35 years seniority TWA FA were furloughed.

At this point, I think most former TWA pilots and FAs would prefer to move on. It was very painful. But the legislation co-sponsored by the two Senators from Missouri should prevent the pure staple job that was seen. What Icahn did, and what he might do, are very cautionary things. Let the buyer beware, as they say.

Hoping that Icahn isn't going to put the screws to us is certainly wishful thinking. He doesn't operate in a world that pays 100+ guys $300k + to sit at home and play Nintendo while the company burns cash... Whatever is happening at Spirit now, that level of uncomfortability could certainly be us soon enough.

What would you advise someone do in order to take action on your advise? I've raised my anxiety level from 2 to 7, now what?

Theres nothing any of us can do unless you’re willing to start your career over someplace else. There’s a lot of what if’s right now and no one knows what the future will look like.

I do not recall when the initial fences came down.

Was it before or after 9/11?

If after, it's hard to argue a "newbie AA CA".
