Yes, towards the tail end of covid DL was refocused on their core hubs and BOS remained deeply reduced. It would have been a great time for us to ramp up faster than DL, but we were all in NYC. This gave DL time to recover in BOS and we lagged ever since.

I don’t know who that is or how they get their metrics(most likely that includes rent, lease obligations and so forth just like every other company), but going of the annual report Ual files with the sec it clearly states their debt and cash on hand as required by law. As does every other company. Very easy to verify all airlines debt. For your reference here is the link to UA’s Earnings release.

The place has been terribly mismanaged. I think Joanna has this year to turn things around. She's on a short leash, and I'm sure she knows it. Icahn isn't gonna let his investment get squandered by incompetent leadership and mismanagement. As soon as he wants to enact change, he'll out maneuver the BOD and put his own people in charge. The 15% and 2 seats was just to calm everyone down initially. If the place does turn around and he triples his investment, he may sit back and honor those commitments; however, if he doesn't like what he sees, he's not just gonna sit back and do nothing. What that means for us pilots, who knows.

Well yes, I can agree with you there. I think the plan B that was touted for most of the last year is one of hope that plan A works because the words plan B were written on a post it with nothing more written and remained there until Icahn reported.

Hopefully (assuming a new administration) it means AK + HA + B6 😀

Yesh I’m just saying it’s a little hard to make it a fortress huh when delta just moved back to the castle they were leasing out down the way.

We could be Bos 200 all day delta would still move back in. They don’t care they have ATL DTW MSP SLC oh and LGA/JFK printing the money for them.

All they have to do is mess around with us. And yes Hayes and the elt lost total focus. As usual.

But there’s nothing we can do about that now. Robin’s out, new management team in. How about we let them execute a strategy and stop criticizing past decisions they had no control over due to the DOJ.
What would you call it then? I mean no disrespect and I’m genuinely curious. Aside from the NEA which was just artificial growth that expired after xx amount of years, and Spirit there’s been a lot of other things that really affect our reputation. Of course on time performance really stands out. When customers get on and expect WiFi, and mint seats that are fully functional and TV’s that work…and they don’t...people get upset and it affects our reputation. When a flight goes out that should be catered and we are told it’s not a catered flight even tho there is low stock on items, it’s something that affects our reputation. To me, the little things like having wifi that works, tvs’s that work, pulling up to a gate and not having to wait 20 min for someone to park the jetbridge….it matters, and someone makes decisions to forgo those items. All those little things is what used to set us apart from everyone else.

Still do, just in the wrong direction. Everyone else has not just caught up, they’ve surpassed.

I don’t disagree. However I’m not sure how many of those delta express carriers (there are a lot in Boston) have all of those things.

I’m just saying they already had the gates to move back into so it wasn’t really hard for them. You coukd run a perfect operation in Boston and it would never be a fortress hub.

But yeah like I said we lost focus and let everything slip. Or should I say Hayes did. Honestly the more I look at his time here it was basically a giant fail.

You won’t see me defend how they killed our reputation.
