Eh...I mean, it's a risk until it isn't. Which is to say, it's been a risk for....40+ years? Only now the single-fleet-type is really potentially impactful?

It seems like it was a pretty good gamble, if we look back at when that decision was made.

They're already an issue and it isn't all storm related. I flew twice last week to FL at 19K because ZJX was too saturated.

Heaven help us from May-August!

Maybe Carl is getting started?

Probably because route planning is “busy making sure the network is optimized for profitability”. If it doesn’t make, it’s gotta go.

Absolutely. The great irony is WN is partly responsible for the mess that is the 737 Max. Reaping isn’t nearly as fun as sowing. I guess we'll soon see how much it's changed their corporate strategy.

Lol, are you not focusing on profitability, running on time, have an activist investor take two seats on your board? Everything is on the table to try to get you back to being a well run airline. I was just asking if Carl started his party, you'll be OK. 😘

Seriously. That writer’s opinion pieces are insufferable to read. He’s a terrible writer.

I heard an exchange with Jax Center this past trip. The controller said she’s working six 10 hour shifts per week. She sounded demoralized.

I don't think there's a good reason why the FAA can't recruit and train enough controllers to work in Jacksonville, which is a pretty good place to live.

It would be awesome if we had a Secretary of Transportation on the case or something.
