It does seem strange that they would put out an 8-K due to a few posts on X.

It could also get you in hot water with the SEC, if you make a public statement that's demonstrably false for purposes of stock price manipualtion. To say nothing of actually filing it in an 8K

It sure does. The largest airline being rumored to be in talks with a lowly regional airline. Awfully big statement for what amounts to nothing.

I’ve convinced myself we have to be merging with someone, or otherwise positioning for it. What happened to the big spring “future of jetblue!” announcement? Then it got punted to fall and still didn’t really happen, except for this half-baked jet forward thing.

We may be improving on paper, but we aren’t actually doing even the most basic things to improve our long-term viability, like for example hiring remotely enough ramp agents in our biggest hubs. From what I see on the line, we’re just coasting so hard…

I've convinced myself that beards and boards shorts should be allowed in the cockpit. Still waiting.

I don't know...over the last few years since Covid, I've seen pretty much all that!

They decided to talked about the "plan" in the Q2 2024 earnings call instead of host the investor day in the fall and cancelled investor day. Whether ya like it or not, "JetFoward" was the announcement and is the plan.

JetForward is not a plan. It's airline 101 stuff. This management has done some things well, but they are still reactionary and lack any sort of real vision.

Morale seems low; I think the realization by the blue juicers that our “product” isn’t the darling of the industry anymore is hitting hard.
