And please keep in mind. JetBlue will not teach you one thing in training. You will learn everything on your iPad. Not one thing. All they do is evaluate you. The initial course is not even an initial course. It’s considered a transition course. How on earth that got approved by the feds is mind boggling. Unreal
And please keep in mind. JetBlue could not teach ME you one thing in training. I tried to learn everything on MY iPad. All they do is HARAAA you. The initial course was SO HARD that even a 2nd grader couldn’t get thru it. It’s considered a transition course. How on earth that got approved by the feds is mind boggling. Unreal JUST HOW MEAN JB IS. AVOID AT ALL COST!!
To anyone who is looking to move to jetBlue, ignore this drivel. Dunno if this person washed out, but his claims are pretty much the opposite of my (very enjoyable and easy to grasp) training experience.

Should really be soon. There were around 150-180 in the pool as far as I heard. They said 300 pilots to be hired this year. So some folks are going to need to be interviewed in time for class later this year. Plus nonstop hiring all of next year. I just hope they fix the ridiculous wait times in between interview and class that many have experienced.

1 pilot gets hired.
2 pilot gets training schedule.
3 pilot studies.
4 pilot goes to class/sim
5 rinse wash repeat 3 and 4 for about 9-12 weeks
6 check ride.
if you can’t get through jb training you shouldn’t be flying. They hand you every tool you need to succeed including every single instructors phone number I’ve ever worked with in over 13 years.
if you don’t like iPad learning you can go to kinkos and print off the 10,000 pages you need to read.

Right! shame JBU doesn’t focus more training on the time honored skills of Pilotage & Dead Reckoning, a terrible disservice to our fine aviators indeed. Prospective applicants be forewarned.
