It’s always the same the front the top help help us but it’s also all your fault and when things get back to “normal” go f yourselves.
I have always had helpful base CPs but the attitude from the ELT lately is sad and they are to quote someone just doubling down.

I know you know the origin of that phrase, but for those that don't, at our previous regionals the base managers/chief pilots would say "if it's legal, it's safe" whenever they were trying to pressure you to take a jet single pack, single bleed, single engine, one wing on MEL into 1/4sm blowing snow, 70kt quartering tailwind to a closed mountain runway, leg 5, with a new 251 hour FO (YES, that was a thing), to a pre-planned 8 hour reduced rest overnight to an unassigned hotel still pending, on your day off. I think the ILS was NOTAM'd out as well, but was a long time ago, can't remember all the details.
