Sorry, missed that post. Yup, I'm a poolie and was also told June or July by recruiting, but didn't know if the schoolhouse had been given any specific dates.

Out of curiosity is the FO hiring posting on the websites like indeed just a recurring posting even though there is no listing on the jetblue site?

When I applied pre covid I did it through the site, which doesn't have a posting currently, so I was just curious if they paid a fee and it gets posted they are hiring even though they aren't actively hiring?

What month did you interview? Any news on class sizes?

And please keep in mind. JetBlue will not teach you one thing in training. You will learn everything on your iPad. Not one thing. All they do is evaluate you. The initial course is not even an initial course. It’s considered a transition course. How on earth that got approved by the feds is mind boggling. Unreal

What?
I thoroughly enjoyed training. Great people, great program. I learn something at every recurrent.

huh?

I think training is the best in the industry. I haven’t heard many other opinions.

I know right! I would much rather sit in a classroom for 8 hour days listening to some 78 year old TWA retiree drone on about every nut and bolt in the 320 hydraulic system than have the more hands-off, self guided program that we currently have. I mean who wants to focus on learning the operational stuff you will need to know to actually do the job when you're on the line??

Absurd post. The training program is very laid back and non confrontational. I thought it was very well done. The proverbial "drinking from a firehose" method isn't the way it's done here at B6.
