I think frustration with the situation is running high for everyone. I would much rather be "in the pool" vs lingering in Phase II as I currently am. There is still value in completing phase II and going past the PHC. I have no illusions of getting a call anytime soon but it would just be nice to have that stage complete. In the meantime, I'll focus on the current position I still have and look out for my family. I'm fortunate to have a good position where I am (and hoping that doesn't change). Many others are not as fortunate.

I would consider a pool position at JB to be essentially worthless at this point in time......the problem is JB has that "we expect you to class up after the second date offered or you have to reapply" policy...if they work around that problem then perhaps pool status will be upgraded to economy class. They want it both ways...they want to drop us at a moments notice (i.e. current classes sent home), and then have us instantly drop what we are having to commit to when and if they ever call. What if they call in 12 months? 18 months? 24 months? Is there still a list that long? Who knows...i'm not holding my breath.

You're right though, it is pointless. Either you want the job when it becomes available, or you don't. If not, make room for someone behind you that does.

No. No one lets you defer time and time again. At some point you gotta get out of mom’s basement and accept reality. You wanted to be an airline pilot. It’s not all sunshine. Despite being told you’re, “special.”

Will be interesting to see the cascading schedule changes. Assuming it's to clean everything, but they didn't specify why they are shutting it down.... which leads me to believe someone tested positive and they just don't want to say it.

It was also in the COVID-Rundown or whatever they call it.
