According 190 schedules they do have scheduled classes once a week in July. They still don’t show names or sizes. Supplemental bid closed yesterday and results will be published in a couple of weeks, that might create some vacancies

just for planning purposes though the 5th class of 2021 was 3 people….

A supplement bid just closed with a few vacancies. All which need to be done by 12/21. I’d expect a few training events to be caused by this. I don’t know anything, but my speculation is, likely not going to see much more than a small trickle of hiring at the moment.

Thank you both. Appreciate the info.

I’m a little confused at what I’m seeing from the ALPA posts about hiring and what I’m reading in this forum. The ALPA post from two days ago said 3 were hired into the 5th new hire class in 2021. If I remember right hiring started in the beginning of May and from what I’ve read here classes have been starting weekly and that would be well over 5 classes so far.

Most of the information is correct. They have been running classes almost every week since May, however many of those were for pilots that were hired back in Feb/Mar 20’. The first “real” new-hire class this year (01-21) started training May 19th. We are now on class 06-21, which started June 23rd. To date, we have added 49 pilots to our seniority list this year.

Ok that makes sense. I appreciate you clearing that up for me!

I'm burnt out on 91 flying, looking to apply. I live an hour from BOS, have 5500-ish hours, 3000 jet, 4 year degree. What are the chances of getting called for an interview?

I was strictly 91/135 for 10 years prior to getting an interview at JB. SO yeah, chances are good.

Excellent! Anyone want to sell me their blue dart? I have $7.63 in spare change that I'd be willing to give up.
