Has anybody who was a March 2020 interview received the drug test and “expect x timeline” email yet?

Default Part 135 time

So My goal is to eventually get to Jetblue I’m currently at a regional in which the quality of life is subpar to say the least. I’ve been trying to gut it out but it is just horrible. My question is if I jump ship and build the rest of my time in a part 135 how much harder is it to get picked up by Jetblue or any other major. I’ve heard they heavily prefer part 121 time.

JetBlue hires from a very wide variety of aviation backgrounds. Build time, be a captain, show leadership. That’s it, probably some luck too.

most of my background was Corporate jet 135 /91 Ops. JetBlue eats up the customer service aspect of the corporate jet world ( or st least they did 11 years ago when I interviewed. But then again I was interview by a flight Attendent so it didn’t take much to impress her.. I like you flew at the regional level in my early years.. I got out it was miserable..

Yea it’s pretty bad, that’s why I’m thinking of jumping ship. I’m just concerned about ruining my chances for my end goal.

just to add on here-

do what is best for you and your family—just keep flying. We hire people from a wide range of backgrounds— from PC-12 drivers to A380 pilots.

the overarching rule is don’t be a dick.

Our interview process is so laid back and informal that I agree with this sentiment. They know you can fly the plane, they just want to see that you aren't an azzhole that would make a 4 day trip a total pain.
