Are guys getting hired have mostly 121 experience? Could a freight dog flying 99's have a good chance of getting hired?

Most in my class had at least some 121 experience, although there were a few that were cargo, part 135, or military. The common denominator was pretty much everyone had SEVERAL internal recs.

In my particular case, I did not have any internal recs.

Just curious, with all the hiring what are the most current lengths of time until one could hold a line at BOS or JFK on both airframes?

Got an email yesterday asking for my flight time for the last 12 months and that my info was currently being reviewed by the pilot hiring committee. I'm in phase 2. Is it accurate that this is the last step of phase 2? Thanks!
