Sometime during the week of Nov 18-22 seems to be the strongest rumor.

400 newhires planned for 2014

Next class Dec 4, with a rumored class in late December, and then typically two per month continuing through 2014.

BOS 190 and JFK 320 are most common newhire choices

Someone posted on a different JB discussion. He is going to vets in blue and they told him on the phone they would be opening it the week of the vets in blue expo so I would imagine the 18th or so.

I've been here a year, and I could have held LGB on the last system bid if I wasn't equipment locked on the 190. Then again, I don't want LGB. In order to head off the inevitible follow up, I still can't hold MCO, which I do want.

Training CP stated in October he expected displacement language in the new PEA and in his opinion the 190's will be moved from MCO to FLL for what it's worth.

Benzo baby!! A constructive post. Ok, I took a cheap shot. Good post. I've heard the same thing about the base shift. I would guess with FLL adding the second runway, that it will become a major focus for jblue to add Carribean and S America flying from FLL.

Look bro. You and I are not going to agree on much. Your mil background taught you to trust most of your superiors. My airline background taught me to trust my union leadership and not airline leadership.

That being said I'm done with the shots. It's not worth it for either of us.

Like kellwolf said, probably a year to hold it, but try to get the A320 as a newhire so that you don't have to wait 2 years for a seat lock to expire. There should be some decent movement for newhires in the next year or two.

Anyone know how much lead time the company is giving prior to class report dates? Just wondering when I would get notified by if I was going to get the Dec class. Thanks.
