So by the company's own math, pay raises are 2.99% less than actual with the loss of premium pay. Assuming I read that correctly. Not sure if I read the non-compete clause correctly, but it SOUNDS like it only applies to accepting recall to your former carrier within 2 years of being hired. Most new hires aren't gonna go back to regionals from here, and anyone with recall rights to a major has probably already been here 2 years. Might have misread that, so correct me if I'm wrong. Either way, it was considerably underwhelming.

I'm pretty sure that there's a non compete addendum in the agreement I signed when I was hired. What are the differences from that one?

This is just a general question about the whole union drive, since I am in very unfamiliar territory. If we vote for a union does that give the company the option of putting the raises in the new PEA on hold until a contract is negotiated? If so, does that mean we could be stuck at our current pay rate for quite some time....years even?

The previous PEA has a non compete clause, which this has as well, but there is a new addendum. Open the PEA in the email and scroll all the way to the bottom, Addendum C

This PEA has been released, so if a union filed for a vote tomorrow you would still have the Dec 11, 2013 PEA to operate under.

I agree. Looks like the no compete clause realistically only applies to furloughed pilots accepting recall. Does not appear to address a pilot with less than two years seniority resigning to pursue employment at another airline.

What about the part 'including its parent, subsidiaries, divisions, or groups'

That seems to me if you were flying an RJ for Skywest operating as United Express then you couldn't leave JB to go to UAL mainline before your 2 years is up.

SkyWest is not a subsidiary of UAL. It is contract feed.

Eagle is a good example of what you are talking about though. Isn't Pinnacle owned by Delta now?

Still, your point is well taken.
