I'm pretty sure the increase in applications has this written all over it. JetBlue is now going to have a much harder time finding the new hire that isn't going to jump ship. I live in my current domicile because I wont commute, and cant wait to move back to Beantown. I wish they had a box to check asking if you would be willing to relocate or sign a training contract.

I wouldn't disqualify anyone that applies. It seems JetBlue knows how to hire the right kind of people. I'm a 9000+TT with 4000+CRJ PIC pilot and JB is my #1 choice and I'm worried I'm too qualified to get a call because they think I'll leave.

I know they like guys who live in base.
One good way to keep guys( there will be those that leave no matter what) will be to raise the pay and come up with a good first CBA.
As others have said here we are growing so it's not stagnant.
It will be up to managment if they really want to attract and retain pilots.

It's a pilots market enjoy while it lasts, we all know what comes next.

Can anybody confirm if they're still offering the 6000 bonus after you complete your first year?

How much longer will we grow should be a valid question being asked by future pilots.

Wall street cant wait for Barger to go and they are about to get that. They also cant wait for us to buckle down and start posting real earning. Some of them are calling for a major slowing of growth.

At the majors you will progress just do to the shear number of retirements. At jetblue we can only hope they continue to grow for personal career movement. (100 retirements in the next 10 years!!). It has worked so far lets hope it continues.

Yep, slowing growth is the big risk. I don't think it will happen short term, meaning through 2020, but after that not sure. After 2022ish retirements are better, but not great.

I still think we grow after 300 aircraft, but not sure how fast.
