I am a military pilot and I get out in just over a year. I don't have my ATP yet but plan to get it before I get out. Should I even bother to apply now? How often are the hiring windows for Jet Blue and how long after the window do they typically interview? Thanks.

I think the system will dump your app if you don't have the atp but I'm not 100% sure.

It would be great if I didn't have to redo the entire app for every window that opens

Unless I am doing something wrong?

Have any classes lately stayed at "The Lodge" yet? Looking forward to the realities of it and the feedback from pilots. Honestly, it is a huge factor in me not applying there anymore. I know it is "temporary during training" but i'm still hesitant. It may be wrong. But that's how I feel.

I believe the first class just started in the lodge.

Not sure what your current gig is and I realize the rules of the lodge may be a pita.... If you're really that concerned, probably best not to apply.

if you don't apply... You'll never have to worry about it either. Or, you could apply, get in the system, maybe you get an interview, maybe you get hired, maybe you can really worry about the lodge and make a desision then... Maybe

Mine was able to populate a lot of the information from the profile i had on file. The documents and what not were already there and it didnt require me to upload everything again. Wasn't too time consuming imho.

Well if you can't handle 5 or 6 weeks at the Lodge for a decent job, then you might not be a suitable match for the job. Airlines aren't the plushy Corporate World!

Suck it up cup cake!

Thanks for the replies gents. Time will tell if this is a good deal or not. It's all perspective and age that formulates attitude as well.

The real test will come with a NYC crashpad
That will make the Lodge seem like the Four Seasons.
