Some do and some don't. I got the phase 2 complete email just after finishing IOE. Some in my class got it before the class date call and others while in class. No rhyme or reason

I've been flying the line here for over a year and I'm still waiting for my phase 2 complete email!!!

No I haven't heard anything except for a call to verify information in my application. My background check was complete sometime around the first week of February, however I haven't received any Phase 2 complete correspondence.

12/15 interview, just got the phase 2 completion email. Still no class date. The email says to expect may-June class but it says 2015 so I'm hoping that it is just meaning they have never updated it.

I was wondering about that too. Seriously hope that time frame was a typo and they're gearing up to make calls for the April 6 class.

Actually most instructors have line numbers these days. I don't know the exact ratio, but only a couple of the E190 guys aren't line qualified. On the bus there are more who aren't line qualified because several of them are over 65, or don't have medicals. The guys who can be but aren't are either patiently waiting for their year to be up, or didn't make it in the last round of interviews.

Over the summer the new hire class sizes typically shrink, and go to one per month, then pick back up in the fall.
