The only story I've heard about seeing names on the list turned out to be a captain at a regional that was on everybody's no-fly list. The way I heard it, one JB FO visited a chief and was told that the info would be passed on, but it was unlikely that just one opinion would sink the candidate. (As it should be IMO)After hearing this, he recruited several others to speak up that had flown with him. They supposedly pulled him out of INDOC.

Don't worry about missing the call. They called me while I was out of the country with no cell service. Called them back, when I arrived 4 days later, and completed the process. They understand that we may be unavailable to talk. Nature of the industry.
