So, does anyone know... if the status of your application is "expired", does that mean it's been eliminated from consideration? (I applied during the last month's window) Thanks

Mine says the same and nothing shows up under the application status window. I'm assuming they've gotten what the need for this window and we will have to resubmit next time around. Vets in Blue this Fall, hopefully. Best of luck to those in the same position, as well as those of you currently in the interview process.

This. And keep updating your profile hours each week or two even after the app window closes. They check that, and everyone I've heard of who gets an interview seemed to update it more than once monthly. Seems like most were weekly updaters. I bookmarked it, stored my login info, and it literally took less than 10 seconds total to update. No reason not to.

I don't recall what my application status said but I applied August of last year and didn't get an invite for a phone interview until mid December. Just keep updating. You never know when the call will come.

For those starting class in the next 6 months, here are the current vacancies after this last system bid that new hires will fill. Expect to see more Airbus slots in future classes.

JFK A320: 44
BOS A320: 9

JFK E190: 2
BOS E190: 16

All new planes coming will be A321's. No more 320's or 190's.

Ah, I see what you did... Yes "NEW" planes.. We'll get some of Virgins "used" A320's. Alaska will hold their A321 orders. Then we will get a few "used" A330's in few years.
