I'm curious, after you got here and realized how bad it is where did you move off to?

So you're saying blewjet is made up of rejects who couldn't get a job at the "competivate" airlines? This is a fallback place? That's exactly right, it is, and management treats us just as much. You proved my point, sometimes you have to work a little harder to get to a better pasture, this one isn't it.
Look I get what you guys are saying but how about we not call our own pilots a bunch of rejects.
I hope you can get to a real airline that deserves your talent it's obviously wasted here at "blue jet"

Was it a fallback place and full of rejects when you applied, interviewed and accepted the job? I guess just a few years ago right?

Let me ask you this, the very people who have these leading contracts, what do they do different? If I have to answer for you then it's all a lost cause.
This airline targets juicers willing to single handely remove each vertabrea of our non-existent spine.
Wear your lanyard, stop blowing pixie dust and stop dreaming about unicorns. Let's tell the true story, this place needs help. We need better management, we need professionalism, we need a CBA!

I'm giving my NC just a little more time to wrap up a deal before I throw in the towel and head for greener pa$ture$.
Prospective applicants: This place isn't what JB wants you to think it is.

Listen, it's cute you guys want to be Jetblue cheerleaders but right now is not the time. Take off your skirt, drop the blue pom pom and listen. We need a spined pilot group who's willing to throw on a jacket, grab a sign, I let the travelers know we are one of the most underpaid majors. Blowing pixie dust about how wonderful this place is is a far cry from the truth. At the time I was hired we were within throwing distance of our peers, today, not even in the same ballpark. It's guys like you, the, "I love my job at Jetblue! Where's the blue gloves? I love this culture! Drop the brake early and help the gate agent. Let me help you with that bag! Look at me, I'm making a PA in front of everyone! Don't you love my jokes..." BS that's dragging, DRAGGING, us down.

You're making a lot of assumptions. You don't have to be miserable to want a good CBA and support ALPA. If that works for you, great. But don't tell those of us who aren't miserable how to behave or act. We are on the same team, even if we don't express it the same way you do. I can do a stand up PA and yet still support ALPA and want a good CBA. I will NEVER tell you to do a stand up PA, but I sure expect the same courtesy from you if I do decide to do one.
I short, you do you.

It's funny that you think that's how it works. I do my job. ALPA speaks for me. I let them do their jobs. I've spoken to the NC guys, and I trust them.

That wasn't my point. Just saying that leaving here for a Legacy isn't that easy if you're strictly civilian when you look at where the hiring is coming from(flows, Pref Interviews). I know plenty of people, as I'm sure everyone does, with great resumes not getting a call. Maybe in a few years if the flood gates open up. But to answer your question, there's competitive applicants from all spectrums. Sorry if I wasn't clear.
