Because all pax were off, wheelchairs were finished, and normally at that point the inbound crew exits and we thought we could get right in. We didn't know there was a cleaning party in the back.

Happy New Year. Training pay is $2,000/month. No per diem. $26/day to use at the Lodge instead. That pretty much covered all my meals. Training pay ends after you finish your LOE. You'll get your typical rate once you start IOE. ($53/$54 per hour I think it will be starting tomorrow).

The training pay ends the day you complete your LOE. So to be a bit more specific, you will be earning the 75 hour reserve guarantee ($4000/mo) while you sit at home and wait for IOE, not just when you're on it.

I believe they try to do it in base but sometimes it's wherever check airmen are available. I've been JFK based my whole time but did OE out of BOS. Obs rides took me to BOS from JFK and then I had a DH back to jfk on the backside.
