I agree. And I voted yes.

But I think it's important to give full disclosure.

If we stop or slow down hiring... we have a huge problem.

FWIW...Last year's Nov & Dec classes were big, the Dec class was over 30 (half the class got a few weeks off after showing up, doing two days indoc and getting aircraft assignment). There was a slight slow down in newhire classes in Jan, mostly to allow training dept to catch up on recurrent training for active pilots.

It's all over the board. 3000 -15000+ hrs.
All types: Part 91, 121, 135, Mil.
There is no resume profile. The candidate is the profile. Get face time and prove you want JetBlue and only JetBlue... and your not going to leave.

We hire people with "0" flight time.

Come on. That BS and you know it. The Gateway Select guys aren't on the list until after their program ends, and they have over 1,500 hours.

What a mountain you guys make out of a molehill. We hired guys at ASA with 250 hours all the time. Some of them are at Blue now. You gonna give them crap for being hired at a 121 carrier with commercial mins?

Bigger fish to fry, fellas, than 20 people taking a different path than you did.
