Some bull crap way of after your first full month. So if you start on 12/2/18 you don’t start getting insurance till 2/1/19.

Should be the first of the month following 30 days of employment. So I started the 24th of June on Aug 1 it kicked in. If you start May 2 it would start June 1 because 30 days in May. If you start May 3 then it would be July 1. Get it?

Your thought made me do some research. This is what I found:”One cost-effective option is to wait to get COBRA until the end of the 60-day window. That way you won’t pay premiums, but you can still get retroactive coverage back to the qualifying date if you find you need COBRA.”
Thanks for your help!

Yep. I knew it was some sort of 6 something days. I had to do this cause Wife was pregnant when I started here so I would have had a month of cobra but I just waited to see if I needed it.
